4月1日-5日，英国班戈大学副校长奥利弗•滕布尔（Oliver Turnbull）一行到我校访问。4月3日上午，在崇德楼召开了中南林业科技大学-班戈大学工作会议。副校长朱道弘、严曙光出席。教务处、招生就业处、国际合作交流处、班戈学院等相关单位负责人参加了会议。
4月3日下午，班戈大学商学院、法学院、人文社科学院大院长安德鲁•爱德华与外国语学院和商学院负责人举行了会谈。
4月4日，班戈学院在致远楼视频会议室召开质量监控和教学委员工作会议，奥利弗•滕布尔和安德鲁•爱德华参加。
据悉，中英两校就如何提高英语教学水平、加强师生交流、扩大教学规模等工作进行了磋商，并就班戈学院的建设和发展交换了意见。
