教学
作为班戈学院的一名教师，自2019年起，我与Arbi James Sarkissian博士合作，主讲的课程为DCC-2002: GIS and Research Methods。我指导了两名学生的HONORS PROJECT (HP)，另外，还有三名学生的HP正在由我指导中。课程要求学生掌握地理信息系统（geographic information systems ，GIS）的基本概念和在各领域的应用，学生还需要熟悉1-2个GIS软件系统知识、基本操作和若干应用案例。在研究方法上，我还向学生讲授了一些采样的基本理论和技术，学生需要结合GIS和采样技术，对给定的研究区进行植被调查的研究实践。
研究兴趣
我的主要研究兴趣为基于遥感图像的森林资源智能提取与分析，包括：
1.森林资源清查、监测和评估
2.悬崖群植物种类调查与多样性分析
3.遥感图像智能图像处理
4.GIS与空间数据分析
5.算法设计与开发
